Launching the Pilot Program
KC Scout’s I-435 ramp metering pilot program launched in late 2009. To educate motorists
about the new meters, KC Scout held informative meetings in the summer and fall
of 2009 to talk with the Kansas City, Overland Park, and Leawood communities about
them.
