Launching the Pilot Program
KC Scout’s I-435 ramp metering pilot program will launch in late 2009.
To educate motorists about the new meters, KC Scout will hold informative meetings this summer
and fall to talk with the Kansas City, Overland Park, and Leawood communities about them.
What You Can Do
Watch for opportunities to attend mobile meetings where KC Scout will
bring its Voice Van and project materials to community shopping areas in order
to share information with residents and commuters about ramp metering.
You can also participate in an on-line meeting or attend
an open house public meeting. All will be held as follows:
